Prestigious champagne
“Salon” is a champagne house known for its eponymous “Salon” champagne, which is considered one of the most exclusive and prestigious champagnes in the world.
The house was founded in 1911 by Eugène-Aimé Salon, a former textile trader and wine enthusiast. Eugène-Aimé Salon was looking for a champagne that was as pure and elegant as the great white wines of Burgundy, and therefore decided to create his own champagne house to produce it.
What makes Salon champagne unique?
The Salon champagne is made exclusively from chardonnay grapes from the best vineyards of the Côte des Blancs in the Champagne region. The house only uses grapes from the best vintages, and the champagne is only produced in years when the grapes are of exceptional quality. This ensures that the Salon champagne is very rare and exclusive.

Unique production process
The Salon champagne is also produced using a unique process. After the first fermentation, the champagne is not blended with other wines, as is customary in the Champagne region. Instead, each plot is vinified and aged separately. The champagne is only released after 10 years of aging, giving it a very complex and refined character.
