Absolutely gorgeous. Full of delicacy, showing citrus preserves and brioche aromas, turning into honey, citrus and a hint of almond, all on an elegant, balanced structure. Very subtle in its power, with plenty of life ahead.
In the glass, Krug Collection 1979 reveals a beautiful golden hue adorned with fine, lively bubbles. The nose combines brioche, yeast, nutty undertones, delicate white flowers, hints of zesty lemon and ripe peach.
