26 hectares

With a history dating back to the 18th century, Château Gazin is one of the oldest wineries in Pomerol. The estate covers approximately 26 hectares and is situated on the right bank of the Dordogne River. It benefits from a favorable terroir with gravelly and clayey soils, ideal for the cultivation of the Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties.

Traditional techniques

The winemaking at Gazin is based on traditional techniques and a pursuit of excellence. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected. After fermentation, the wines are aged in French oak barrels, allowing them to develop the necessary structure and complexity.
