The 1975 Château Gazin is a mature Right Bank Bordeaux that reflects both the structure of the vintage and the elegance of Pomerol terroir. On the nose, it offers developed aromas of dried plum, leather, tobacco, and earthy truffle, with subtle hints of cedar and spice.

On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with softened tannins that were once quite firm—a hallmark of the 1975 vintage. Flavors of dark fruit have largely evolved into more tertiary notes: forest floor, dried herbs, and a touch of cocoa. The acidity remains present, giving the wine a lingering, slightly austere finish.
