Rouget makes a seductive, gourmand Vosne village wine and the 2016 is no exception, offering up a deep bouquet of black fruits, smoked duck, liquorice and spice, framed by rich new oak. On the palate the wine is concentrated and full-bodied, its lovely natural ripeness balanced by succulent acids, its tannins supple and ample.
