Since 1986, no estate has produced a more diverse range of wines than l’Angelus. L’Angelus has produced one of the vintage’s stars in what can be a light-bodied, occasionally dilute year. The Angelus 1992 ends with sweet tannin and no evidence of dilution, with a dark ruby/purple color, a huge, smokey, licorice, and herb-scented fragrance, and gobs of rich, chocolaty, cassis fruit. This excellent wine has charm, fatness, depth, purity, and suppleness.
