Historic winery

Château Magdelaine was a historic winery located in the Saint-Émilion appellation of Bordeaux, France. Unfortunately, Château Magdelaine ceased production in 2012 and no longer exists as an independent estate.

Refined wines

Château Magdelaine had a long and storied history, with vineyards dating back to the 18th century. It was known for producing elegant and refined wines primarily from Merlot grapes, with smaller proportions of Cabernet Franc.

Taste pallet

The wines of Château Magdelaine were highly regarded for their balance, complexity, and aging potential. They often exhibited characteristics of red fruits, floral notes, and a distinct minerality, reflecting the unique terroir of the Saint-Émilion region.

Château Bélair-Monange

While Château Magdelaine is no longer operational, its legacy lives on in the collective memory of wine enthusiasts and the exceptional vintages it produced. The vineyards of Château Magdelaine have since been incorporated into the neighboring Château Bélair-Monange, another esteemed winery in Saint-Émilion.
