Deep, dark & almost opaque ruby red in color. The dark fruit on the nose has a meaty nature and there are some reduced aromas. The cassis fruit on the nose shows a leafiness and again the notes of reduction. Acidity is good, structure is fine & alcohol is balanced. The fruit on the mid palate is currently thin & weedy but should open & bring the wine into balance when the reduction recedes. (2021)
