Taittinger Comtes de Champagne 2007 Giftbox

The 2007 Brut Blanc de Blancs Comtes de Champagne is still showing exceptionally well, and it hasn’t changed much since I last tried it a few months ago. It’s medium to full-bodied, chiseled and tensile, with good depth at the core, racy acidity, and a pure, precise, and particularly chalky finish, with a lovely aroma of lemon oil, lily pollen, dried white flowers, blanched almonds, and crushed chalk. It’s a very classically balanced middleweight Comtes that has a long future ahead of it.
