One of the big accomplishments of the vintage is this magnificent wine. Thomas Duroux, the administrator, has created a modern-day replica of Palmer’s spectacular 1966. This thick purple-colored offering has notes of blackberries, truffles, flowers, incense, and camphor, displaying a rare combination of power and grace. This exceptional effort is a contender for the best Margaux of the vintage, being long, classic, and medium to full-bodied with stunning texture and richness.
