Mature but lively appearance, pale red; transparent style, lovely sweet fruit, rose petals, silky, elegant, harmonious, retains some tannic grip, vibrant and beautifully balanced, delicate, creamy, complete, subtle and layered, perfectly integrated alcohol, excellent length. A superior 1965, remarkably fresh and youthful. Seems even better than in 2008. (Cellartracker)
