Color: deep burnished, coppery gold. Syrupy bouquet of apricots, peaches, toffee, creme brulee. Palate was large-scaled, especially for Doisy Daene. Positively luscious: butterscotch and caramel along with apricot compote. Long, sweet finish showing a good level of botrytis. Less powerfull than the 1990, this wine is ready to drink or able to keep in cellar.
