Duroché is well-regarded estate in Gevrey-Chambertin, in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits region. The domaine is owned and run by Pierre Duroché, the fifth generation of the Duroché family, and specializes in the production of red wines made from Pinot Noir.

The domaine cultivates plots in four grand cru climats: Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze, Latricières-Chambertin, Griotte-Chambertin and Charmes-Chambertin. Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze is the oldest of these vineyard plots and was first planted in 1920. The remaining climats were planted over a 76-year period between the years of 1922 and 1998.

In addition to its Grand Cru vineyard sites, Domaine Duroché has three Gevrey-Chambertin premier cru vineyard holdings in Lavaut Saint-Jacques, Estournelles-Saint-Jacques and Les Champeaux. The domaine also produces five village-level wines from the Côtes de Nuits village, as well as two Bourgogne regional wines, one of which is a Chardonnay-based Bourgogne Blanc.

In total, Duroché farms approximately eight hectares (20 acres) of vines. Generally, the vineyards sit atop limestone-rich soils, with smaller quantities of sandy marl. The wines vinified without fining or filtration
