The nose is dominated by toasty new oak notes. The palate offers sweet vanilla, blueberries and cedar. Ripe, firm tannins with mouthfilling richness in the middle. The wine possesses serious structure and plenty of dark berry fruits. This wine will be much better in 5+ years time. Tasted in: Bordeaux, France. Maturity: Drink.
Slightly grey ruby. Very dense with some top-quality oak in evidence. Classy stuff! Very round and supple at the start with lots of wholesome fruit. Spicy and an array of flora on the palate. The finish is a bit chunky.
