Domaine Bertagna is a Burgundy wine producer based in the heart of Vougeot in the Côtes de Nuits. It cultivates 21 hectares (52 acres) of vineyards spanning from the Côte de Beaune in the south to the Côte de Nuits in the north, and makes wines from both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The domaine has plots in five grand cru vineyards: Le Chambertin, Clos Saint-Denis and Clos de Vougeot, as well as two plots in Corton. It also has vines in seven different premier cru vineyards, including the 2.3ha (5.7 acre) Clos de la Perrière monopole vineyard. Most of the vineyards are planted on east-facing, limestone-rich slopes on the Côtes de Nuits.

At Bertagna, harvest is carried out by hand, beginning first with the domaine’s vineyard sites in the Côte de Beaune, followed by those in the Côte de Nuits. After fermentation, wines are aged for approximately 18 months in French oak barrels with various levels of toast. The domaine’s flagship Clos de la Perrière premier cru wine is fermented with natural yeasts, and is aged in 50-percent new French oak barrels for approximately 16 to 18 months.

The Reh family purchased Domaine Bertagna from Claude Bertagna in 1982 and since 1988, the company has been managed by Eva Reh-Siddle.
